[UK Energy Price Cap Raised by 13%, Average Household Annual Bill Rises to £1862] ⑴ From July, the annual energy bill for typical dual-fuel (gas and electricity) households in the UK will increase by several hundred pounds. The UK Energy Regulatory Authority (Ofgem) announced a 13% increase in the residential energy price cap, raising the annual limit for average households from £1641 to £1862. ⑵ For average households using the supplier's standard default rate, the monthly bill will increase by £18.
