[my country's Bohai Sea Oilfield with Over 100 Million Tons of Reserves Commences Full Production] China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) announced on May 27 that the first phase of the Kenli 10-2 oilfield cluster development project, my country's largest offshore shallow lithologic oilfield, has commenced full production. Located in the southern Bohai Sea, the Kenli 10-2 oilfield has proven geological reserves exceeding 100 million tons of crude oil, with a daily production exceeding 2,800 tons. The Kenli 10-2 oilfield is the first shallow lithologic oilfield with reserves exceeding 100 million tons discovered in the Bohai Bay Basin depression. The first phase of the development project mainly includes the construction of one central processing platform and two unmanned wellhead platforms, with a total of 79 development wells.
