[International Oil Prices Fall Significantly] International crude oil futures prices fell by more than 5% in early trading on the 27th, before the decline narrowed. The price of light sweet crude oil futures for July delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by as much as $6.12 to $87.77 per barrel, a drop of 6.52%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for July delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by as much as $5.42 to $94.16 per barrel, a drop of 5.44%.
