[Gansu-Zhejiang UHVDC Transmission Project Connects to Zhejiang Power Grid] According to State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power, at approximately 11 PM on May 27th, the AC system of the Yuezhou converter station at the receiving end of the Gansu-Zhejiang ±800 kV UHVDC transmission project, a key project of the "West-to-East Power Transmission" initiative, was officially put into operation. This marks the connection of the project to the Zhejiang 500 kV main grid at its Zhejiang end, and signifies that the Yuezhou converter station has entered the energized operation phase.
