[Real-world testing shows 6G terminal prototype system can achieve downlink peak speed of 10Gbps] On May 28, the China Telecom Research Institute, China Telecom Hubei Branch, and CITIC Mobile Communications Technology Co., Ltd. jointly conducted a downlink peak speed test of a 6G terminal prototype system in Wuhan. The results showed that the downlink peak rate of a single terminal reached 5Gbps, and the system's downlink peak rate reached 10Gbps, effectively verifying the enormous potential of 6G technology in terms of throughput and spectrum efficiency.
