Wang Jianhong, president of the China Cotton Association, explained that "sustainable cotton" refers to cotton grown using scientific planting methods that reduce the use of pesticides, fertilizers, and human intervention without affecting yield, thus avoiding environmental pollution. "With the accelerating pace of global green and low-carbon transformation, the cotton industry is facing a new development landscape.
