[Korea's Financial Supervisory Service Calls on Asset Management Companies to Take Greater Responsibility for ETF Products] (1) Lee Chan-jin, Director of the Financial Supervisory Service of Korea, met with the CEOs of 20 asset management companies and the head of the Korea Financial Investment Association on Monday to discuss ETF market regulation issues. (2) Lee Chan-jin pointed out that with the rapid expansion of the ETF market, the responsibilities of asset management companies are increasing, and called on all companies to ensure the accuracy of investment information when promoting such products. (3) He also specifically reminded asset management companies to pay closer attention to the tracking errors and discrepancies between their ETF products and their limited partners (LPs).
