[my country Completes First Test of Sequential Methanol Transportation via Refined Oil Pipeline] The State Pipeline Group announced that China's first field test of sequential methanol transportation via a long-distance refined oil pipeline was successfully completed in Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. This marks a significant leap forward in my country's refined oil pipeline sequential methanol transportation technology, moving from theoretical exploration to engineering verification. During the test, two sets of tests were conducted under different operating conditions, covering typical operating scenarios such as high and low flow rates, and start-up and shutdown. The test systematically verified the process adaptability of sequential methanol transportation via refined oil pipelines under complex terrain conditions and various operating modes. Zhang Duihong, Director of the Research Institute of the State Pipeline Group, stated that this test provides engineering practice for the future routine and large-scale transportation of methanol via refined oil pipelines, laying a solid technical foundation for the future construction of a large-scale "West-to-East Methanol" transportation channel.
