[Foreign Ministry Introduces Information on the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference] Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian held a regular press conference, announcing that the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence will be held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20, with the theme "Intelligent Partners, Shared Future." President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony and deliver a keynote speech, comprehensively and systematically elaborating on China's policy stance and concepts regarding the development and governance of artificial intelligence. China has extended invitations to government officials, industry, academia, and research figures, as well as heads of international organizations from various countries to participate in this grand event.
