[my country's Foreign Trade "Intelligence Content" Steadily Improves, Industrial Robot Exports Reach 6.29 Billion Yuan in the First Half of the Year] The State Council Information Office held a press conference today (14th) to introduce the operation of my country's foreign trade this year. In recent years, my country's robot industry has achieved leapfrog development, with exports continuing to expand and being widely used in production and daily life globally. In terms of categories, the main types include industrial robots, surgical robots, cleaning robots, and intelligent bionic robots. Among them, intelligent bionic robots and cleaning robots are newly added special tariff codes this year, giving them their own international trade "identity cards," allowing for better accurate statistics and reflecting industry development trends. The robot export situation in the first half of the year can be viewed from the following three dimensions: First, my country's industrial robots are rapidly iterating, continuously improving their competitiveness and contributing to the intelligent transformation of global manufacturing. By 2025, my country's industrial robot exports will exceed imports for the first time, making it a net exporter of industrial robots; in the first half of this year, exports reached 6.29 billion yuan, an increase of 18.6%, sold to 141 countries and regions worldwide. Second, my country's surgical robots are gaining more international market recognition, and intelligent medical equipment produced in China is benefiting more and more patients. In the first half of the year, exports of surgical robots reached 480 million yuan, a 3.3-fold increase, with the number of export markets rising from 23 in the same period last year to 49. Thirdly, cleaning robots have entered thousands of households in my country, and humanoid robots, robot dogs, and bionic fish and birds are also rapidly entering the international market. Exports of these two categories of goods totaled 18.09 billion yuan in the first half of the year. Going forward, customs will closely monitor the development needs of the robotics industry, continuously optimize regulatory services, improve trade facilitation, and promote the steady increase of the "intelligence content" of my country's foreign trade, injecting Chinese momentum into the global intelligent economy.
