[SK Hynix Advances Equipment Ordering and Production Schedule for Yongin Y1 Wafer Fab] (1) SK Hynix has initiated the ordering process for advanced DRAM manufacturing equipment for its first wafer fab, Y1, in the Yongin semiconductor cluster. (2) The initial production plan is to produce 20,000 wafers per month, with the target product being sixth-generation 10-nanometer (1c) DRAM. (3) The first cleanroom (ph1), originally scheduled to start in May next year, has now been moved forward to February next year to build a pilot production line. The equipment will then be fully installed between March and April to achieve the production capacity target of 20,000 wafers per month.
