[30.67 Million Kilowatts! Chongqing Power Grid Load Hits Record High] At 17:11 on July 14, the Chongqing power grid's unified dispatch load reached 30.67 million kilowatts, an increase of 390,000 kilowatts compared to last year's peak load, setting a new historical record. Since late June, temperatures in Chongqing have been gradually rising. On July 14, the Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued its first "red alert for high temperatures." Affected by this, air conditioners and other cooling equipment were widely used throughout Chongqing, causing the power grid load to continue to climb.
