[National Bureau of Statistics: Year-on-Year Decline in Commercial Housing Prices in First-, Second-, and Third-Tier Cities Continues to Narrow Overall] In June, the year-on-year decline in new commercial housing prices in first-tier cities was 1.3%, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points compared to the previous month. Specifically, prices in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen fell by 2.1%, 2.6%, and 3.6% respectively, while Shanghai saw an increase of 3.1%. The year-on-year decline in new commercial housing prices in second-tier cities was 3.1%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points. The year-on-year decline in new commercial housing prices in third-tier cities was 4.2%, the same as the previous month. In June, the year-on-year decline in existing home prices in first-tier cities was 4.9%, a decrease of 0.9 percentage points compared to the previous month. Specifically, prices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen fell by 5.5%, 3.2%, 6.1%, and 4.7% respectively. The year-on-year decline in existing home prices in second- and third-tier cities was 5.4% and 6.0% respectively, with the declines narrowing by 0.3 and 0.2 percentage points respectively.
