According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in June, the growth rates of thermal power and hydropower generation in industrial enterprises above designated size slowed down, while the growth rates of nuclear power and solar power generation accelerated, and wind power generation reversed its growth trend and declined. Specifically, thermal power generation in industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 0.5% year-on-year, a slowdown of 1.6 percentage points compared to May; hydropower generation increased by 4.8%, a slowdown of 8.2 percentage points; nuclear power generation increased by 8.5%, an acceleration of 3.5 percentage points; wind power generation decreased by 5.6%, compared to a growth of 0.5% in May; and solar power generation increased by 14.2%, an acceleration of 2.1 percentage points.
