[Group Standard for Cost Calculation Rules for the Chinese Automotive Industry Officially Released] Recently, the group standard for "Cost Calculation Rules for the Chinese Automotive Industry," spearheaded by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and jointly compiled by 18 major domestic vehicle manufacturers, was officially released. This is the first set of unified cost calculation rules for the entire automotive industry in China, ending the long-standing history of inconsistent cost accounting standards and lack of benchmarks. It is a key measure for the automotive industry to rectify disorderly price competition and promote high-quality development, and also an important achievement in building consensus and establishing industry self-regulation rules across the entire sector.
