[India Launches Real-Time Seafarer Tracking in Strong Response to Strait of Hormuz Attack] (1) The Indian government announced that it will implement continuous monitoring of all ships carrying Indian citizens passing through the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman. The Directorate General of Shipping will establish a platform to track every Indian seafarer on board in real time (regardless of the ship's flag).
