According to the National Energy Administration, in June, total electricity consumption reached 898.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. By sector, primary industry electricity consumption was 13.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.0%. Secondary industry electricity consumption was 573.4 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%; among which, industrial electricity consumption was 568.3 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, and high-tech and equipment manufacturing electricity consumption was 112.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. Tertiary industry electricity consumption was 186 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; among which, charging and swapping services and internet data services consumed 14.8 billion and 9.1 billion kilowatt-hours respectively, with growth rates reaching 57.1% and 41.4% respectively. Residential electricity consumption was 125.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 3.1%.
