[PBOC: Asset Management Products Held 9.5 Trillion Yuan in Stocks at the End of June, Up 26.2% Year-on-Year] Yan Xiandong, spokesperson for the People's Bank of China and Director of the Survey and Statistics Department, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the 15th that at the end of June, asset management products held a total of 28.5 trillion yuan in interbank deposits and certificates of deposit, up 10% year-on-year; held 38.2 trillion yuan in bonds, up 8.4% year-on-year, with the growth rate continuing to rise, and the balance increased by 2.2 trillion yuan from the beginning of the year, 1.1 trillion yuan more than the same period last year; and held 9.5 trillion yuan in stocks, up 26.2% year-on-year.
