[Saudi Yanbu Port's Crude Oil Loadings Near Peak] With shipping disrupted by the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz, Saudi Arabia has turned to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait for crude oil exports. Data from professional institutions shows that the daily crude oil loading volume at Yanbu Port, located on the Red Sea coast, has recently approached its peak. Foreign media reported on the 14th, citing data from Signar Ocean Company, that around the 13th, Yanbu Port's crude oil loading volume reached an average of 4.7 million barrels per day, an increase of nearly 40% compared to 3.36 million barrels around the 10th. Since June, Yanbu Port's crude oil loading volume has averaged 4 million barrels per day, while the figure for the same period last year was only 973,000 barrels per day. After the outbreak of the conflict with Iran, to avoid the obstructed Strait of Hormuz, Saudi Aramco uses an east-west pipeline to transport crude oil produced in the Persian Gulf oil-producing region of eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu Port. This pipeline has a peak daily transport capacity of 7 million barrels, of which 5 million barrels are available for export. (Xinhua)
