[A-Share Half-Year Earnings Reports Released in Rapid Succession] The annual half-year performance reports of listed companies have begun. Yesterday, the first earnings report was released. Simultaneously, the release of A-share half-year earnings forecasts has entered its peak period, gradually revealing the profitability of the A-share market and changes in its economic structure. As of July 15, a total of 1,668 A-share listed companies had released their 2026 half-year earnings forecasts; among them, 902 companies forecast positive year-on-year net profit growth, and 181 companies expect to turn from losses to profits. From an industry perspective, AI computing power, commercial aerospace, electronic manufacturing, chemical non-ferrous metals, and new energy companies have the most companies forecasting profit increases. Tian Lihui, an academic committee member of the China Capital Market Association, stated that, especially in hard technology fields such as memory chips and fiber optic communications, due to factors such as rising product prices and expanding market demand, earnings have increased significantly, fully demonstrating growth potential. Currently, driven by both policy guidance and market demand, hard technology and high-end manufacturing are becoming important engines of earnings growth, and the effects of China's economic restructuring are gradually becoming apparent.
