[EU Demands Google Open Android AI Functions and Share Search Data] The European Commission announced on the 16th that, under the Digital Markets Act, it has issued two legally binding regulatory measures to Google, requiring the company to open up its Android operating system's artificial intelligence (AI) functions to competitors and share search data with third-party search engines to enhance competition in the digital market.
