According to statistics released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in June 202X, the U.S. produced 1.28 billion gallons of D6 ethanol blending credits, a slight increase from 1.26 billion gallons in May. During the same period, the U.S. produced 839 million gallons of D4 biodiesel blending credits, a more significant increase from 736 million gallons in May. These ethanol and biodiesel blending credits are important mechanisms within the U.S. renewable fuel standards system, and changes in their production typically have a ripple effect on subsequent pricing in the U.S. renewable energy market, fuel producers' production plans, and even market demand for related agricultural products.
