Jordan claims to have intercepted and shot down three Iranian missiles that entered its airspace. On July 17, local time, the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces issued a statement saying that Jordan's air defense system successfully intercepted and shot down three Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace and were targeting Jordanian territory. The statement said the interception was carried out in accordance with established defensive measures and operational procedures, aimed at safeguarding Jordanian national sovereignty, ensuring airspace security, and protecting the safety of its people.
