[Italy's construction output rose 2.9% year-on-year in May, interrupting two consecutive months of month-on-month growth] ⑴ Italy's construction output rose 2.9% year-on-year in May, a slowdown from the revised 3.2% in the previous month. Seasonally adjusted month-on-month growth was flat, interrupting the consecutive growth trend of the previous two months (1.9% in March and 0.8% in April). ⑵ Average output for the three months from March to May increased by 2.0% compared to the previous three months. Calendar-adjusted construction output is projected to grow by 2.0% cumulatively in the first five months of 2026.
