[Air China: Plans to Purchase 55 Aircraft for US$12.44 Billion, Delivered in Batches from 2029 to 2032] Air China announced that on July 17, the company, its wholly-owned subsidiary Air China Import & Export Corporation, and its holding subsidiary Shenzhen Airlines signed an aircraft purchase agreement with Airbus. Air China will purchase 15 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, and Shenzhen Airlines will purchase 40 A320NEO series aircraft, totaling approximately US$12.44 billion based on list prices. The actual consideration is lower than this price. The aircraft will be delivered in batches from 2029 to 2032. This transaction is subject to approval by the company's shareholders and relevant national authorities. It is not expected to have a significant impact on cash flow and operations, but will increase capacity by approximately 11.4%.
