[Shanghai Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange Sign Memorandum of Understanding] On July 17, 2026, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further promote information exchange and cross-border cooperation. Since the launch of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, the SSE and HKEX have continuously optimized and improved various mechanisms and arrangements based on market developments, actively promoting the stable and healthy development of both markets. This newly signed memorandum will further promote collaborative cooperation between the two sides in information exchange, support relevant HKEX participants in voluntarily submitting relevant information, and promote the continuous deepening and improvement of the interconnectivity mechanism. Going forward, under the overall guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the SSE will continue to optimize and improve cross-border cooperation, enhance the effectiveness of the interconnectivity mechanism, and steadfastly promote high-level institutional opening-up of the capital market.
