[CBOT Grain Futures Prices Mixed in Early Trading, Wheat and Corn Slightly Weakening] ⑴ On Friday morning, grain contracts on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange showed mixed performance. September corn futures fell slightly by 0.5 cents to $4.41 per bushel, September wheat declined by 2 cents to $6.73, September oats rose slightly by 1.25 cents to $3.47, and August soybeans remained unchanged at $11.95. ⑵ In terms of meat products, both live cattle and pork futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange recorded increases. The August live cattle contract rose by 0.17 cents to $2.27 per pound, the August feed cattle contract rose by 0.08 cents to $3.47, and the August hog contract rose by 0.22 cents to $1.00. ⑶ From a trading perspective, the grain market is seeking a balance between digesting Black Sea export disruptions and the North American crop weather outlook. Wheat is supported only slightly by geopolitical supply concerns, while corn maintains narrow fluctuations amid ample inventories and weak export demand.
