The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns in the strongest terms Iran's renewed aggression against its territory, as well as the territories of friendly Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Qatar considers such actions a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the victimized states, a serious breach of international law, the UN Charter, and the principle of good neighborliness. The continued implementation of such aggression constitutes a dangerous escalation that will exacerbate the difficulty of easing regional tensions and undermine political and diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving regional security and stability. Iran must bear full legal responsibility for the aforementioned aggression and all its consequences. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that, in accordance with relevant provisions of international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter, Qatar reserves all rights to take countermeasures and may take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens. Qatar also reiterates its full solidarity with friendly nations and its support for all countries taking all legitimate measures to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. It urges an immediate and comprehensive cessation of all military operations and aggression that endanger regional security and stability, an end to all actions that could escalate the conflict, a genuine return to the path of dialogue and negotiation, and adherence to the consensus reached by all parties through diplomatic consultations.
