Base metal futures on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed on the day, with the following specific figures: Copper futures closed down $73 at $13,526 per tonne; Aluminum futures closed down $34 at $3,150 per tonne; Zinc futures closed at $3,526 per tonne, down $68 from the previous trading day; Lead futures were relatively stronger, closing up $10 at $1,883 per tonne; Nickel futures saw a relatively significant decline, falling $191 to close at $16,961 per tonne; Tin futures closed up $74 at $53,230 per tonne; Cobalt futures remained unchanged at $56,290 per tonne.
