The Ministry of Natural Resources released before-and-after images of the landslide in Pengshui County, Chongqing, showing the collapse of multiple buildings. According to the Ministry, on July 17, the Ministry initiated emergency response video conferencing to arrange and deploy emergency response measures for the landslide in Pengshui County, Chongqing. It organized consultations to assess potential disaster risks and produced before-and-after remote sensing imagery comparison maps and 3D reality comparison maps, which were delivered to the frontline rescue command center. Simultaneously, the Ministry coordinated the acquisition of remote sensing satellite imagery.
