On September 12th, the commissioning ceremony of UBTECH's 10,000-unit-level super smart factory for industrial humanoid robots in Liuzhou was successfully held, marking the official mass production of the intelligent manufacturing model of "using robots to produce robots" in Liuzhou. Zhang Zhuang, Secretary of the Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Zhou Jian, founder, chairman, and CEO of UBTECH, attended and delivered speeches. In his speech, Zhang Zhuang stated that the official commissioning of UBTECH's 10,000-unit-level super smart factory signifies that Liuzhou has entered a new stage of large-scale mass production in the field of high-end robot manufacturing. The "innovation content" and "intelligence content" of Liuzhou manufacturing continue to rise, which will powerfully promote Liuzhou's transformation from a traditional industrial city to a new industrialization demonstration zone, adding ample momentum to building a "strong city of intelligent manufacturing." It is understood that this super smart factory is UBTECH's first benchmark factory in the world adapted to a 10,000-unit-level production capacity for industrial humanoid robots. According to the designed production line's production rhythm, one robot can roll off the line every 10 minutes, with a planned annual production capacity of over 10,000 units. In the future, as the factory's production capacity continues to be released, it will further drive the cluster development of the upstream and downstream intelligent manufacturing industry chain, providing solid production capacity support for the large-scale application of humanoid robots.
