[Norwegian Gas Facility Maintenance Adjustments Intensify Short-Term Supply Contraction] ⑴ Norwegian gas system operator Gassco adjusted its planned maintenance schedule for the Heidrun facility on Tuesday, slightly reducing the daily shutdown from 5.9 million cubic meters to 5.8 million cubic meters, and postponing the start date from March 1, 2027 to March 2, with an expected end date of March 3. ⑵ The maintenance scale for the Kollsnes facility was expanded from 21 million cubic meters to 30 million cubic meters per day, and both the start and end dates were moved forward from the originally scheduled September 21-22 to September 16-17. ⑶ The daily shutdown of the Nyhamna facility remained unchanged at 34.8 million cubic meters, but the schedule was also moved forward, from September 21-22 to September 16-17. ⑷ The adjustments at the three facilities differed, but the earlier maintenance at Kollsnes and Nyhamna, and the larger scale of the Kollsnes maintenance, meant that the contraction in Norwegian gas supply in the short term was more concentrated than previously expected.
