[Greece's Construction Output Grows 7.1% Year-on-Year in Q2, Growth Slows] ⑴ Greece's construction output grew 7.1% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, a slowdown from the 16.4% growth in the first quarter. ⑵ The slowdown was mainly due to a 10.7% decline in civil engineering projects, which reversed from a 6.8% growth in the first quarter. ⑶ Residential and non-residential construction activity grew by 17.6%, slightly slower than the previous 18.9%, while professional construction activity grew by 16.1%, slower than the previous 22.3%. ⑷ On a quarter-on-quarter basis, construction output grew by 30.6% in the second quarter, significantly reversing the 44.6% decline in the previous quarter.
