[Kazakhstan's Economy Grows 4.9% in the First Eight Months, Flat Growth Rate] ⑴ Kazakhstan's economy is projected to grow by 4.9% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2026, flat growth rate compared to the first seven months. ⑵ Industrial growth slowed to 2.8% from 3% in the first seven months, manufacturing growth slowed to 8.4% from 9%, transportation and warehousing growth fell to 7.3% from 7.4%, and mining and quarrying output contracted further (-4.3%, previous value -4.4%). ⑶ Agricultural growth accelerated to 5.2% from 5%, construction growth accelerated to 15.6% from 15.3%, and trade growth accelerated to 6% from 5.9%.
