[Report: US, Israeli, and Arab Military Officials Hold Secret Meeting on Iran] Two Israeli officials revealed that senior military commanders from the United States, Israel, and several Arab countries met in Germany last week to discuss the war against Iran and broader tensions in the region. The closed-door meeting was organized by General Brad Cooper, Commander of US Central Command. In addition to Cooper, the chiefs of staff of the armed forces of Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt also attended. Cooper assured the participants that the US military would not withdraw from the region even if Iran continued to attack US bases. He also briefed his colleagues on the US operational plans regarding the Strait of Hormuz. An Israeli official stated that the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces briefed other participants on the military operations being conducted by the IDF on multiple fronts. The U.S. Central Command confirmed the meeting, stating in a statement: "We hosted a scheduled meeting in Germany with senior military leaders from eight countries. The parties explored feasible ways to strengthen security cooperation in the Middle East." Informed sources said that, under the mediation of the U.S. Central Command, Israel and Saudi Arabia are discussing how Israel can support Saudi Arabia's military operations against the Houthis and, following the model used to assist the UAE, provide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support to Saudi Arabia.
