International oil prices rose significantly on the 15th. By the close of trading that day, the price of light sweet crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose $4.44 to settle at $105.83 per barrel, a gain of 4.38%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for November delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange rose $3.07 to settle at $108.75 per barrel, a gain of 2.9%. Following this price increase, both major international crude oil benchmark prices remained above $100 per barrel, further highlighting the strong supporting factors in the current international crude oil market's supply and demand.
