[Saudi Arabia Claims Houthi Drone Attack on Mecca] The Saudi-led coalition stated early this morning (September 16th) local time that Saudi air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by the Houthi rebels in Yemen south of the western city of Mecca on September 15th, before the drone "entered" the no-fly zone of the Islamic holy city. Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said in a statement that this was the second time the Houthis had launched an attack on Mecca. The Houthis reportedly launched a ballistic missile at Mecca in July 2017. (CCTV International News)
