[National Healthcare Security Administration Issues Plan to Launch First Batch of Nationally Unified Medical Insurance Service Item Catalog] Today (the 16th), the National Healthcare Security Administration officially issued the "Work Plan for the Formulation of the National Basic Medical Insurance Medical Service Item Catalog (First Batch)." This marks the first time my country has formulated a nationally unified medical insurance service item catalog, further standardizing the scope of medical insurance payments and improving fairness and efficiency in fund utilization. The plan clarifies that it adheres to the "basic coverage" principle, comprehensively considering the affordability of funds and actual clinical needs in various regions, and proceeding according to the principle of "categorized formulation and dynamic improvement." The first batch will cover 13 categories, including cardiovascular, respiratory, ophthalmology, gynecology, radiotherapy, anesthesia, nursing, rehabilitation, dental implants, and assisted reproduction. After the catalog is implemented, it will first be applied to cross-provincial medical treatment settlement, and then gradually integrated with the payment scope of each province. (CCTV)
