(2) This is lower than the 7 ships of the previous day and far below the 10-day average of 18. (3) Of these ships, 2 left the strait and 2 entered. (4) Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) or Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers were not included in the passage. (5) Some ships may have passed through the waterway with their transponders off and therefore were not included in the statistics.
