【A-share midday review: ChiNext index opens lower but rises 2.35%, semiconductor, optical fiber and precious metals sectors lead the gains】 (1) The three major A-share indices rose collectively in the morning session. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.57%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.42%, the ChiNext Index rose 2.35%, the Beizheng 50 Index rose 1.39%, and the STAR Market 50 Index rose 4.5%. (2) The total market turnover was RMB 1,173.8 billion, an increase of RMB 108.6 billion from the previous day, with more than 4,200 stocks rising. (3) In terms of sectors and themes, semiconductor, lithography machine, precious metals, optical fiber concept and CPO sectors led the gains; automobile, banking, insurance, port and shipping and pork sectors led the declines. (4) The semiconductor materials sector performed strongly, with GRINM Silicon, GRINM New Materials and Zhongjing Technology hitting the daily limit, and Shanghai Hejing, Tianyue Advanced and Shanghai Silicon Industry leading the gains. (5) The fiber optic concept sector opened lower but closed higher, with many stocks such as Zhishang Technology, Accelink Technologies, and Huamai Technology hitting the daily limit. Changxin Bocheng, Changguang Huaxin, and JPT were among the top gainers. (6) The precious metals sector fluctuated and rose, with Sichuan Gold, Zhaojin Gold, and Chifeng Gold leading the gains.
