[European Media: Ursula von der Leyen to Call for the Establishment of a European Security Council] European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is scheduled to deliver her annual State of the Union address to the European Parliament on the 16th. According to Eurodynamics, von der Leyen will propose a radical overhaul of the European security architecture and call for the establishment of a European Security Council. According to a transcript of von der Leyen's speech obtained by Eurodynamics, the European Security Council would be composed of European leaders as well as leaders from non-EU countries such as Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Canada.
