[UK Core Inflation Remains Stable at 2.6% for Fourth Consecutive Month in August] ⑴ In August 2026, the UK's annual core inflation rate remained unchanged at 2.6%, marking the fourth consecutive month of stagnation and remaining at its highest level since March, in line with market expectations. ⑵ Services inflation remained stable at 3.4%, while goods inflation accelerated, rising from 2.2% in July to 2.7%. ⑶ On a month-on-month basis, core consumer prices rose 0.3% in August, compared to a 0.2% increase in July.
