The 15th Five-Year Plan period is a crucial stage for Zhongguancun's construction of a world-leading science and technology park. Based on Zhongguancun's positioning as the main base of the Beijing (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) International Science and Technology Innovation Center, the plan proposes that by 2030, the proportion of enterprise research and experimental development expenditure to added value will reach approximately 9.0%, the number of world-class technology companies will reach 110, the number of unicorn companies will reach 105, the park's operating revenue will reach 13.5 trillion yuan, and the operating revenue of strategic emerging industries will reach 8.1 trillion yuan.
