[Summer Grain Procurement Nears Completion, Total Purchases Exceed 100 Million Tons] The National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration announced today (16th) that the peak summer grain procurement season nationwide is nearing its end, with the market generally stable and orderly. Since the start of the peak summer grain procurement season, the principle of "market-led, policy-supported" has been adhered to, with various regions organizing production and sales cooperation and connecting agricultural enterprises according to local conditions. Currently, the cumulative purchase of wheat nationwide exceeds 100 million tons, and early indica rice 12 million tons, slightly faster than last year. This year, various regions have prepared 110 million tons of summer grain storage capacity. The Agricultural Development Bank of China has initially provided 150 billion yuan in special loans, and leading enterprises such as China Grain Reserves Corporation, COFCO, and China Grain and Oil Supply and Marketing Cooperative have taken the lead in entering the market, ensuring that "money and storage are ready for grain," guaranteeing smooth sales for farmers.
