[Eurozone Industrial Production Falls 0.1% Month-on-Month in July, Better Than Expected] ⑴ In July 2026, Eurozone industrial production fell 0.1% month-on-month, the same decline as in June, but slightly better than the market expectation of a 0.2% decline. ⑵ The month-on-month decline mainly reflects weaker output of non-durable consumer goods, which fell 1.6%, compared to a 1.8% decline in June; energy output growth slowed to 0.9% from 1.4%. ⑶ In contrast, intermediate goods output rebounded by 0.3% after falling 0.9%; capital goods output grew by 0.5%, reversing the 1.8% decline in the previous month. ⑷ Durable consumer goods output also strengthened, rising from 0.4% to 0.9%. ⑸ The performance of major Eurozone economies was mixed, with German industrial production falling 1.5%, French production falling 0.4%, and Spanish production growing by 0.6%. ⑹ Year-on-year, Eurozone industrial production was flat in July, slightly better than the expected 0.1% decline.
