[Houthi Rebels: Saudi Arabia Launched 40 Airstrikes on Yemen, Two Batches of Warplanes Intercepted and Withdrew] The Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed on the 16th that Saudi Arabian warplanes launched 40 airstrikes against three Yemeni provinces in the past 24 hours. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarreya stated on social media that F-15 fighter jets took off from the Saudi airbase in Khamis Mushait, southwestern Saudi Arabia, and launched the airstrikes against Taiz province in the southwest, Marib province in the northeast, and Hajah province in the northwest.
