[Chengdu-Leshan Expressway Expansion Project's Largest Swing Bridge Successfully Rotates] In the early hours of September 17th, the Tianfu Furong Bridge, a key control project of the Chengdu-Leshan Expressway expansion project in Sichuan Province, successfully completed its simultaneous rotation of both spans. These two bridge spans the Chengdu-Guiyang High-Speed Railway and the Chengdu Ring Expressway, each with a span of 116 meters and a bridge deck width of 36.1 meters, with a total rotation weight of 86,000 tons. This successful rotation marks a breakthrough in the key control project of the Chengdu-Leshan Expressway expansion project and creates conditions for subsequent construction. The Chengdu-Leshan Expressway expansion project is 136 kilometers long, starting at the Sichuan-Tibet Interchange on the Third Ring Road in Chengdu and ending in the central district of Leshan City. Currently, more than 80% of the section has been completed and opened to traffic. (CCTV News)
