The Central Bank of Turkey announced it will increase the amount of funds provided through weekly repurchase auctions and update banks' borrowing limits in the interbank money market operated by the central bank. It will review and lower the discount rates applicable to eligible collateral in the markets operated by the Central Bank of Turkey, closely monitor liquidity conditions, and take any additional measures as necessary.
