According to sources familiar with the matter, the Trump administration is evaluating a proposed government-led incubation platform to support cybersecurity research and incubate startups that develop related technological tools for the US government. An unnamed source stated that discussions have not yet been made public, but the White House Office of the Director of National Cyber Security is currently drafting an executive order to launch a dedicated project to develop cyber technologies aligned with the US government's priorities. This project aims to attract private venture capital investment. In one draft executive order, the project is named "Cyber Foundry," tasked with incubating new businesses. Sources familiar with the planning indicate that the US government is comparing this concept to the Israeli model, which deeply integrates the military's priorities with the development of domestic cybersecurity startups, venture capital investment, and academic research. Currently, several globally renowned cybersecurity companies, such as Wiz, Patrol Networks, and Check Point Software Technologies, have founding teams with backgrounds in former Israeli cyber intelligence agencies.
