[Italy's Current Account Surplus Narrows to €7.3841 Billion in July] ⑴ Italy's current account surplus narrowed to €7.3841 billion in July from €7.8468 billion in the same period last year. ⑵ The services surplus narrowed to €1.1029 billion from €1.3132 billion, while the primary income balance shifted from a surplus of €412.1 million to a deficit of €116 million. ⑶ During the same period, the secondary income deficit widened to €1.7913 billion from €1.6977 billion. ⑷ These changes were offset by an increase in the goods surplus, which rose to €8.1886 billion from €7.8192 billion.
